Is An Update Available To Make The PAD Unit Compatible With The AHA/ERC 2010 CPR Guidelines?
Yes, and it’s free! Please contact your local HeartSine Distributor or contact support@HeartSine.com to ensure your system is updated to this new standard.
Why Is The Status Indicator Not Flashing Or Flashing Red?
A problem has been detected. Check the expiration date of your Pad-Pak™. Change the Pad-Pak if the expiration date has been exceeded.
If the status indicator is still not flashing or flashing red, contact your authorized HeartSine distributor or support@HeartSine.com.
Does The PAD Perform A Self-Test?
Yes. This self-test occurs weekly on Sunday at midnight GMT. If a fault is detected during self-test, the status indicator will flash red or will stop flashing. If this occurs, please contact your distributor or HeartSine technical support at support@HeartSine.com.
If the PAD passes the self-test, the status indicator will continue to flash green every five seconds.
What Test Equipment Can Be Used For Testing The HeartSine® samaritan® PAD?
The only test equipment that can be used for testing the HeartSine samaritan PAD Defibrillator is the Fluke Biotek Defibrillator Tester QED 6 that has been calibrated after June 1, 2006.

What Are The Required Maintenance Checks For The HeartSine samaritan PAD?
On a weekly basis, the Status Indicator should be flashing green approximately every five seconds.
If it is not flashing green or is flashing red, a fault has been detected. Change the Pad-Pak. If the status indicator is still flashing red or not flashing, contact your authorized HeartSine distributor or support@HeartSine.com.

What Is The Warranty For The HeartSine samaritan PAD?
The samaritan PAD comes with a 10-year warranty as standard for units shipped on or after May 1, 2011. Proof of date of purchase required.
What Is The Charge Time For The HeartSine samaritan PAD?
The charging time is less than eight seconds at 150J, and less than twelve seconds at 200J.
What Is Recorded In The Event File Record?
90 minutes of ECG and event/incident recording.
What Is The Operating/Standby Temperature?
0–50°C, 32–122°F
What Is The Shipping/Transportation Temperature?
-10–50°C (14–122°F) for up to two days. If the device has been stored at temperatures lower than 0°C (32°F), it should be returned to an ambient temperature of 0–50°C (32–122°F) for at least 24 hours before use.
What Is The Pad-Pak Battery Capacity?
18V 1.4 amp-hours or 60 shocks at 200J or six hours monitoring.
